I grew up in West Chester, PA with an obvious passion for all kinds of animals. Throughout college, I started my first job working with dogs right here at Bryn Mawr Vet Hospital, and this is where my passion turned into a career! Upon earning my Bachelors in Psychology from Temple University, I went on to complete the Professional Trainer and Master Trainer course at the Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainer's in St. Louis, Missouri.
I began my training career in Jacksonville, Florida turning rescue dogs into service dogs for wounded veterans. For four years after that, I became the Director of Training at a pet training facility that specializes in aggression and anxiety, and was also the lead trainer at their dock diving pool!
I have three wonderful kids: a Black Lab, a German Shepherd, and a Belgian Malinois. All of my free time is dedicated to them! I enjoy taking them for hikes, training them for scent detection, competing in dock diving with my Lab, and French Ring with my Mal. I am beyond excited to be back at BMVH with the people who supported me from the start!
