Laike Stewart, DVM, DACLAM joins us from a prior career in comparative animal medicine, most recently serving as Senior Director and Attending Veterinarian at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
He previously held clinical and administrative roles at University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Medical College of Cornell University, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He brings prior pharmaceutical experience (preclinical discovery, safety pharmacology and toxicology, GLP & GMP practices) having served as Director of Clinical Veterinary Services (Wyeth), and Director of Operations-Worldwide Comparative Medicine (Pfizer).
He is a graduate of Bates College, Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, Nursing and Allied Helath and completed his residency in Laboratory Animal Medicine & Surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons (NYC), and Merck & Company (Rahway, NJ).
